Parcel 2 is made up of 146 acres, of which approximately 120 acres are seeded down to hay. Parcel 2 offers 2 miles in perimeter fencing, with ¾ mile of cross fencing in place. There are 9 x double 5-bar, 10’ gates, as well as 1 x single 5-bar, 10’ gate. This Parcel also has a 6’ high wooden handling/crowding tub facility with 10 x 5-bar, 10’ gates. There are 3 drinking fountains (one of which can be found in the handling facility and is fed by a well/pump house with its own hydrometer, while the other two fountains are located in two different paddocks and are fed from a well or from the municipal water supply located in the yard next to the paddocks). All paddocks are fenced so the animals have reliable access to drinking water and there is a centralized bison handling facility at the water fountains. There is a municipal water line running along the east and south side of Parcel 2. The balance of Parcel 2 is in bush with mowed grass offering a park like setting. There is potential for future development of acreage lots measuring 2 acres or more. This Parcel has a significant undeveloped aggregate play of up to 100 acres under the hay land. Aggregate would require processing to make fill or c-base gravel, which ‘Morden Powerplay’ has produced for years.
