BJ Fuchs, Director of Sales

BJ joined the team in the role of Director of Sales in 2022. As a rancher in north- central Alberta, BJ’s roots run deep into the cowboy lifestyle. In his younger years, BJ played competitive hockey in the AJHL & BCJHL, then went on to ride bareback horses in different rodeos across western Canada. Like a lot of farmers and ranchers, BJ worked off the ranch as well and enjoyed a successful 23-year career in the Oil & Gas industry.

BJ has devoted his life to the agriculture industry. He gained a lot of experience through growing up in farming and ranching operations, and he now hangs his hat at the working cow/calf operation he and his family own and operate; they pasture cow/calf pairs for the summer months and market the calf crops off the ranch. BJ and his family also run a performance horse facility where they teach riding lessons, board horses, and put on numerous events including roping, barrel racing, Jr rodeos, horsemanship, and ranching clinics.

BJ feels we all must be more diversified in today’s world. The use of modern technology, such as, when it comes to selling or buying farm and ranch property is a step ahead of the antiquated process of the traditional methods used to sell land. BJ hosts an ag-focused weekly podcast and sits on the board with a company called Business Wide View that is a platform built by farmers and ranchers for farmers and ranchers. As an entrepreneur with several companies to his credit, BJ understands how important every transaction is to land and business owners.

BJ is known for his drive and dedication to the agriculture industry as well as his commitment to helping others succeed. BJ’s passion in working with clients is obvious from the very first meeting right down to him ensuring all the details are covered for sale day.

BJ has firsthand experience with selling farmland that has been in the family for 100+ years and acknowledges the magnitude a sale will have on their lives; BJ’s family used to sell their land before he became a Director of Sales. The combination of BJ’s ranching background and life experience makes him an integral member of the team and brings added value to every client interaction.
